Leon Methodist Church
celebrated its 100th anniversary in the same church and same location. Years
ago the church was called “The church by the side of the road.” The

Loraine United Methodist Church is a rural congregation of about 120 members and average attendance of 110. We are family-oriented with Sunday School classes for all ages at 9:15 and worship at 10:30 AM each Sunday. June through Labor Day we add an 8 AM service. Senior youth fellowship meets Sunday at 6:30 PM and Adventure Club for kindergarten through sixth graders of offered at 6:30 PM Wednesdays, October through March.
